This is a truly unique location right in the heart of San Sebastian close to good local restaurants and all amenities. The studio apartment, with a balcony to the front and a terrace to the back, is on the top floor of a private house on a quiet street in the old town. To reach the apartment, guests enter through the same entrance as the owners through a courtyard flooded with light. The wide staircase up to the studio passes through the owners’ hall with doors on both sides to reach the top of the building. The owners are a young Canarian family and a valuable resource of  information about the island and all it has to offer. The studio is small (36m2) but well-designed to make excellent use of the available space and the natural setting, especially the light.

Detailed description

The apartment is just a short walk from the town center, the supermarket, bus station, restaurants and shops. It is bright and airy with a large balcony extending the length of the building in the front for sun through to late afternoon and a terrace, just as large, at  the rear. The front balcony looks out over the rooftops of the old town. The breeze blows in from the Atlantic and light shines in from above through the open beams.

Living area

The studio is a single room with separate bathroom that makes efficient use of the available space. Emphasis is on making you feel comfortable and at home.

At one end is the lounge area with couch, reading light and a good supply of books. Next to this is the kitchen/dining area with a dining table seating four. There is also a small breakfast counter and a well-equipped kitchen with everything you need to cook your own meals if you are a self-caterer.

The sleeping area has two single beds next to one another with wardrobe, night tables and reading lights.

The bathroom has a shower, sink and toilet.
