This beautifully presented Canarian house is set back off the lane in this extremely peaceful village of Chejelipes. In an unspoiled location with awe-inspiring views of the reservoir below and surrounded by the palm-dotted Gomera hills that stretch up to their peaks in the sky, this house is situated about 8 km from San Sebastian and its amenities. This is the perfect location place for hiking, bird-watching or just relaxing.

Detailed description

This house offers stunning views from the dining area/sun conservatory through panorama windows onto the valley and reservoir of Chejelipes.

This unique house has a rustic, traditional flavour with high, local timber ceilings and an open wood-burning fireplace. The living space is open plan with dividing doors leading through to the conservatory.

Outside is a beautiful, private, roofed terrace with seating and a wood burning B-B-Q fire. Steps down lead to a second sun terrace with a front aspect comprising of additional comfortable seating.

The nearest bar/restaurant is 1 km. Another two are 1,5 km away in the next village. Buses go through from San Sebastian twice a day but we recommend renting a car.
Parking is available. The national park of Garajonay is close by, with its extensive hiking trails through the humid subtropical forest. The house is the perfect base for exploring the surrounding area.

Living/kitchen/dining area

Open style combined sleeping/living/kitchen area with comfortable furnishings including a very large double bed, wardrobe, armchairs, coffee table and a four place dining table. In addition alternative seating for dining is offered in the conservatory. If you are a self-caterer, the kitchen has all you need to prepare your own meals including oven/hob, kitchen utensils, pots and pans.

Bed and bathrooms

The fully tiled bathroom has a luxurious corner bath/shower unit, toilet and sink. There is also a washing machine.
